Studio Coordinator
Location: Larkspur, California (On-site)
We’re an award-winning interior design studio known for timeless, refined residential spaces. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle, our team works on full-service design and custom projects throughout California and beyond.
We are seeking a reliable and organized Studio Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, vendor logistics, and general studio upkeep. This role is suited for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in working behind the scenes in a creative environment, with opportunity for growth in studio operations, expediting and design support.
About the Role
The Studio Coordinator helps keep our studio running smoothly. Responsibilities include managing incoming deliveries, maintaining organization, coordinating sample requests, and supporting our team with general operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Management
Keep office and shared spaces tidy and organized, including our design materials library, design workspace and kitchen
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and product deliveries
Assist with setting up and maintaining vendor and trade accounts.
Track and manage utility and office-related billing (PG&E, internet, cleaners, landlord, etc.)
Expediting & Design Support
Order and return samples for fabrics, finishes, and furniture
Coordinate scheduling with vendors and tradespeople
Assist with white glove delivery coordination and shipping documentation
Drop off or mail client packages and materials
Run errands as needed to support interior design project logistics
Occasional Project Support & Miscellaneous
Assist with photoshoot logistics, including sourcing or organizing props and materials
Support the team with studio prep ahead of installs or key meetings
Ad-hoc property management support to owner
Qualifications
1-3+ year of relevant administrative, office coordination, or customer service experience
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Professional and friendly communication style
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
Ability to lift packages and navigate light physical tasks
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Full-time, on-site role: 40 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling
Creative and supportive work environment
$30 monthly cell phone stipend
$400 monthly employer contribution toward medical and dental insurance
Eligibility to participate in a retirement plan with employer contributions
