Interior Designer (Intermediate - Advanced, 5+ years experience)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid)
Type: Full-time
About the Role
This role requires strong design vision, project ownership, and coordination abilities. You will work closely with the Principal Designer and design team to take projects from concept through installation, ensuring impeccable execution, client satisfaction, and alignment with the firm’s design standards. Designers are responsible for executing design work on assigned projects, including FF&E selections, drawings, presentations, and communication with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design concepts, palettes, and FF&E schemes. Produce CAD drawings, including but not limited to floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans and detailed elevations.
Prepare client presentations and revisions. Provide technical solutions and design refinements as needed.
Source materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. Maintain detailed specifications for lighting, furniture, plumbing, etc. and coordinate all details with the procurement team.
Attend site visits, measure spaces, and support installations.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and external consultants, liaising between clients, subcontractors, project manager and principal to drive the design process for a successful outcome.
Required Qualifications
5+ years professional experience in interior design, preferably at a luxury residential firm
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential work
Proficiency in:
AutoCAD + SketchUp (or similar 3D modeling software)
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
Studio Designer (preferred) or similar FF&E tracking software
Google Workspace + Slack
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods, and custom fabrications
Ability to read architectural plans and understand construction processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Hybrid role: minimum of 3 days per week onsite in our Larkspur office

Project Expeditor
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid / On-site as needed for deliveries, pickups and site visits)
Type: Full-time, Exempt
About the Role
The Project Expeditor is central to ensuring the smooth flow of information between designers, vendors, receivers, and installation teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in order processing, claims management, and logistics, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch design environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Order Processing
Apply for and maintain trade accounts with vendors.
Request quotes and prepare proposals for lighting, plumbing, wallpaper, carpet, tile, furniture, windows, and decorative items.
Enter and place all purchase orders accurately and on schedule.
Track all goods ordered and contracted services, maintaining complete and organized documentation.
Review weekly procurement reports and flag issues proactively.
Logistics & Tracking
Manage and track incoming/outgoing shipments, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Communicate with vendors, freight companies, and receivers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Review products at the receiver for accuracy and quality; escalate discrepancies.
Coordinate installation logistics with the Procurement Manager and receivers.
Manage claims, damages, returns, replacements, and warranty coordination.
Complete deliveries and pickups across the Bay Area as needed.
Photoshoot Support
Assist with styling and setup: sourcing, pickups, onsite setup, and breakdown.
Handle post-shoot returns, repairs, and vendor communications.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in procurement, logistics, expediting, or operations, ideally in interior design, luxury retail, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience with order entry, claims management, and vendor coordination.
Proficiency in Studio Designer or similar e-commerce procurement platforms.
Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to lift/move materials and drive for local deliveries (valid CA driver’s license required).
Comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with multiple team members.

Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience
